Common Questions

Yes - many winter programmes are built specifically for families, with guides tailoring pace and time outdoors to suit all ages.

Kittila Airport is about an hour away by transfer. Enontekio is also around an hour, while Rovaniemi is about three hours.

Northern Lights are most visible in northern Finland from late August to April, but sightings depend on clear skies and solar activity. We treat it as a wonderful possibility, not a promise.

Expect real winter conditions with temperatures around -2C daytime and colder at night. Layering, good gloves and warm boots are essential - and thermal gear is typically provided.

Festive Santa experiences are typically included in pre-Christmas season packages at Harriniva.
